Got questions?

How do I order?

Use this form to place your order or email us at thu@cakes2cupcakes.com.au. Please include a detailed description on your design or theme and we will be able to give you an accurate quote. A picture of a cake you like will also help with the design process and will let us create exactly you desire.

NB. A non refundable deposit must be paid to secure an order. This can be done by direct deposit and account details will be supplied on acceptance of quote.

When should I book for my event?

Generally we ask for a minimum 4 weeks notice. The sooner you book your date, the more likely it is that we can accommodate your order as we book up very quickly. We also accept last minute orders but this will depend on availability.

What is the process of ordering a cake?

An initial enquiry email is recommended where you supply us with details such as, date, serving size required (dessert or coffee), location for delivery, design ideas and from here we can give you a rough estimate of cost.

For weddings we recommend a consulation where we can discuss design and give you a confirmed quote. For other cakes such as birthdays, christenings etc, we are happy to work by phone or email to finalise design and quote.

Once design and the price of your cake is confrimed, we will send out an invoice/cake order.

How much will my cake cost?

Each custom cake is priced individually depending on design and complexcity. Factors such as serving size, quantity of sugar art (flowers and figurines), hand piped designs or amount of labour will effect the final cost of a cake.

We have a minimum order of $250.

Our rough wedding cake price guide:

Single tiered cakes start from $250

Average 2 tiered cake starting from $500-$800

Average 3 tiered cake starting from $900-$1800

Average 4 tiered cake starting from $1200-$2,000

To comfirm order and secure date, a 50% deposit is payble (by direct transfer) and balance due 2 weeks before event date.

Are the decorations on top of cakes edible?

Yes, generally all the decorations are hand made out of Fondant (sugar) and are edible. If any of the decorations are not edible, you will be notified of this.

How should I care for my cake?

Cake are packaged in boxes with lids and sit within holders to prevent movement. Cakes travel best on a flat surface such as inside a car boot rather than on a lap or front seat. Boxes should not be stacked and the air vent at top of box needs to be kept open at all times to prevent condensation - this makes the icing sticky. CAKES MUST NOT BE REFRIGERATED - keep them at room temperature, or if possible in air conditioning if weather is especially humid.

Storage tips

Cakes should be stored in room temperature and should not be refrigerated. Fondant sugar toppers will melt with the condensation when they are placed in the fridge.

Can I have a different flavour for each tier?

Yes of course! You can have a different flavour for every tier you have for your cake.
